In 2005, FARS was awarded an ARRL SPECTRUM DEFENSE certificate.
The certificate reads:

This is to certify that Frontier ARS contributed to the "2005 Fund for the Defense of Amateur Radio Frequencies"
to support the ARRL as a dedicated advocate for Amateur Radio by mounting a strong campaign against Broadband
over Power Lines and by safeguarding the interests of Amateur Radio in the face of new challenges in spectrum
management at home and around the world.
